STUDIO HIRE REGISTRATION
Studio 24 Conditions of Hire
All hirers are required to enter into a written hire agreement. These conditions form part of the hire agreement.
1. HIRE DESCRIPTION
- At the time of your booking, provide full details of booking.
- The Management of Studio 24 holds the right to refuse or cancel bookings they regard as unsuitable or out of keeping with the Studio 24 values or if the venue is used for a purpose other than what has been specified on the Hire Agreement.
2. BOOKING
- The Hirer must be over the age of 18 years and is not transferable.
- The Hiring Agreement must be signed by the authorised person of the organisation hiring the venue. The nominated Hirer is responsible for the booking and all its conditions.
- Bookings will only be accepted once a booking form is complete.
- Be aware of the time required for your booking. Allow extra time for setting up, cleaning and packing away equipment. These times must be followed, and an extension of the time will be subject to an additional charge.
- The studio floor must be cleaned after each class due to Covid-19 requirements.
- You may only use the studio you have booked in the portal; CCTV will monitor this rule is adhered to.
- The Hirer is liable for any damage to property of Studio 24.
- If lights, air conditioners or stereos are left on you will be charged for each hour they have been on for.
3. INVOICING
- On receipt of the booking form you will be set up in the Studio 24 database and sent a password to the Studio 24 portal where you can book a studio and will find your invoice so you can pay online.
4. CANCELLATIONS BY HIRER
- You must pay at the time of booking and there are no refunds for cancellations.
5. SECURITY
- Studio 24 has CCTV in every studio, so all classes are monitored.
- Emergency Exit Doors are to be used in an emergency only and must be kept clear at all times.
- The Hirer is responsible for the securing of the premises when leaving and must: a) Switch off all electrical appliances, stereo, lighting in studio, toilets, corridor and air-conditioning, unless other users are still in the building.
- Check all taps are turned off.
- Ensure toilets are clear of patrons.
- The door takes a few seconds to lock so please ensure it is locked before you leave.
6. DAMAGE
- Hirers must respect Studio 24 property.
- No items from inside Studio 24 are to be taken outside of the building.
- All damage, breakages must be reported to the Management as soon as practical during office hours. If they occur outside of office hours and effect the security or safety of Studio 24 the Hirer must notify Melinda Sweeney by phoning 0409 077 275
- All loss and damage to Studio 24 property must be paid by the Hirer. Studio 24 accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any goods or equipment left at the Studio prior, during, and after the hiring period.
- All existing property, artwork, signage and fire extinguishers must remain intact and not removed.
- Hirers must report any damage immediately to Melinda Sweeney
7. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND POLICY

- The Hirer is responsible for all participants associated with their booking.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Smoking is not permitted inside Studio 24 or within 10m of any entrance. 2 Candles are not permitted in the building.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- DO NOT give your Studio 24 Portal password to a second party.
- DO NOT give alarm codes to a second party. As the hirer YOU must disarm and re-arm the alarm.
9. PUBLIC LIABILITY
- If you are a business running classes, please send a copy of your Public Liability Insurance to melinda@studio24dance.com.
